The Material Handler 2 in Receiving is responsible for picking and unloading product rapidly, verifying order accuracy, and ensuring proper storage and rotation. The position also involves all line feeder and finished rotator responsibilities. This role is exposed to multiple refrigerated areas within production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with GMP, PPE, Safety, HACCP, and Sanitation guidelines.
• Rotate product by date in storage, maintaining accurate inventory and performing routine cycle counts.
• Transfer materials to production, ensuring production lines are stocked.
• Pick orders on correct pallets (iGPS, Chep, White wood), wrap, and store appropriately.
• Unload products promptly, verify paperwork, and ensure system accuracy.
• Move finished goods to storage, maintaining proper temperature.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• GED/High School Diploma.
• 2 years of forklift experience (stand-up forklift experience preferred for some roles).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; basic math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and multi-task.
• Willingness to work in cold, wet, fast-paced environments, 24/7 shifts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Performance metrics including fill rate, labor efficiency, rework, OEE, and compliance.
• Response to quality issues, consumer complaints, and safety metrics.
• Other performance indicators like TCIR and LWCR.
• Participation in engagement surveys and RCE assessments.

Physical Work Environment:

This role involves using ladders and catwalks, working near moving machinery, and exposure to cold, humid conditions, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards. The environment is often loud, with occasional exposure to high places and wet conditions.
