Job summary

Nidec is seeking a Material Handler to support our production and distribution operations in the United States. Candidates should have 0-2 years of related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. The position is usually first shift and based at our facility, with adherence to standard procedures

Select, count, weigh and deliver materials, check and record parts under general supervision.

• Select, count and deliver materials to manufacturing or shipping areas in accordance with Material Department procedures.
• Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed.
• Assist checking in and storing materials as received from manufacturing and receiving areas as needed
• Check in and receive deliveries into receiving area as required.
• Inspect and verify incoming deliveries for correct address, number of packages, and condition, and note discrepancies on paperwork before signing.
