Job summary

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company providing services to major wireless, high-speed Internet, and cable providers. Material Handler 2 handles shipping, receiving, inspecting, and delivering materials in a 1st shift (7:00AM - 3:00PM, Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities include packaging, unpackaging, put-away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production; maintaining safety and accuracy of records; and supporting team goals in a busy warehouse

Material Handler 2 performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.

1st Shift: 7:00AM - 3:00PM, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production.
• Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
• Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
• All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Clerical skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment.
• Must be able to lift, push and/or pull up to 75 lbs., if necessary.
• The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.
• The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
