Job Overview

Material Handler 2 is responsible for selecting and separating products in a safe and efficient manner, including reading labels, placing products on pallets, and preparing them for shipping or storage. Associates follow standard work instructions and utilize manual pallet jacks and hand scanners to enter data into the computer system.

Essential Responsibilities

• Accurately select products for put away and shipping.
• Operate manual pallet jacks safely and efficiently.

• Perform duties such as reading labels, product selection, transfers, palletizing, etc., with attention to detail.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to repeatedly lift and/or push or pull/reach above shoulder height.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs independently, up to 80 lbs with assistance).
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Adaptability to changes in work environment, materials, tools, methods, and instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Licenses

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Environment and Risks

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 80 lbs with assistance.
• Extended periods of standing and walking.

Schedule

Available for 1st and 2nd shifts.
