Material Handler – 1^st Shift temp to hire

We have an opportunity for a temporary Material Handler to join our Delavan, WI team. You will support the Materials team by handling and delivering materials to manufacturing lines, ensuring smooth operations. Candidates meeting the requirements below are encouraged to apply today!

You will:

• Properly store all types of purchased and manufactured components.
• Stage components and deliver them to production in a timely manner.
• Process documentation such as transfer tickets, packing slips, and safety checklists.
• Understand the Bill of Materials for all product lines.
• Follow safety rules and practices.
• Operate various Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) to move materials within production and warehouse areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the group lead.

Key Qualifications:

• Operate Forklift, Order picker, High reach lift truck.
• Use hand trucks and pallet jacks.
• Utilize scales and barcode scanners.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk up to 8 hours, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift over shoulder height. PPE including steel-toed shoes required.

Shift/Hours:

• 1^st Shift: 6:30am – 2:00pm, Monday – Friday
• Occasional mandatory overtime.
• Temporary position with potential for permanence.

Compensation:

The hourly pay is $18.00. There is potential for a rate increase after proficiency and training completion. Actual pay may vary based on skills, achievements, and experience.
