Job summary

ProLogistix is hiring Material Handlers for 1st, 2nd, and weekend shifts in Whitsett, NC for a world-renowned computer company. The role focuses on receiving, counting, verifying materials, and updating our warehouse systems to ensure accurate inventory.

You will use pick lists and barcode scanners to move stock, pack and label shipments, and prepare documents for carriers. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that supports timely order fulfillment and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience handling incoming materials and validating against shipping documents.
• Familiarity with warehouse procedures and order fulfillment.
• Ability to use barcode scanners and handheld devices to update systems.
• Attention to detail for packing, labeling, and shipment accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify against packing lists or bills of lading.
• Record and verify quantities in the warehouse system and resolve discrepancies.
• Pull material from stock using pick lists and handheld devices for orders.
• Pack, label, and prepare shipments following guidelines and documents.
• Process shipment transactions and coordinate with carriers for loading and labeling.

ProLogistix is now hiring for 1st,2nd Shift and weekend shift Material Handlers with a world-renowned computer company

Location: Whitsett

Hours and Starting Pay:

1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:30am-3pm $15.25

2nd Shift 3:30pm-Midnight $16.25

Weekend Shift: Sat and Sun 11am-11pm$16.50

Job Duties for a Material Handler

• Receipt of incoming new materials, counting and verifying them against shipping documents (such as packing lists or bills of lading).
• Receipt of goods into the warehouse system against the purchase order or advanced ship notice, noting any discrepancies and working with Receiving Technician to resolve. Validate expected condition and quantities of returned materials against return authorization, noting any discrepancies.
• Using pick lists or handheld computer instructions, remove material from stock to be moved to the order fill area.
• Load products into designated packages or on pallets based on order requirements, verifying counts and capturing data as required using barcode scanner and manual input to the system.
• Complete packaging of orders following established packaging guidelines.
• Apply labels and insert documents on the shipment.
• Perform shipment transactions on outgoing orders while verifying shipment counts and packaging integrity.
• Prepare shipment documents and works with carrier to ensure accurate loading and marking.
