Job description

Material Handler, 1st Shift – Simi Valley, CA

Support the Materials team by picking and preparing orders, receiving, moving, and storing materials, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. You will:

1. Pick and prepare orders for shipping using requisitions and order sheets.
2. Pack incoming stock, take inventory, and report shortages.
3. Keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
4. Pick orders as requested by management, ensure correct shipping information, and move completed orders to the shipping area.
5. Seal and tag containers, confirm accuracy of orders, and sign pick tickets.
6. Place containers on pallets, secure with stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and straps.
7. Load products using forklifts, carts, and pallet jacks.

Key Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of prior forklift experience (stand-up and sit-down forklifts).
• SAP/ERP experience preferred.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, and twisting.
