Job summary

Aerotek in Reading, PA is seeking a Material Control specialist to operate forklifts, manage materials, and enter data in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.

You will follow written instructions to measure and repackage, assist in mixing operations, and maintain a clean, safety-focused work environment. The position is contract to hire with shifts across the day.

Qualifications

• Forklift and pallet jack experience with at least six months of hands-on operation.
• Proficiency in Excel or similar software for data entry tasks.
• Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings.
• Strong math skills to pass a required aptitude test.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds frequently.

We are seeking a dedicated individual for our Material Control position who possesses experience in forklift operation, material handling, and data entry. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage materials and contribute to the production process by following written instructions and handling large quantities of products.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

Work in a facility that operates three shifts: 1st shift from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, 2nd shift from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Dress code requires wearing scrubs over street clothes, a clean t-shirt, non-slip oil resistant shoes, and jeans. Employees will receive a body suit from the security booth daily, along with hair nets and beard nets. Punctuality and reliability are crucial during the temporary employment period.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $13.25 - $15.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
