Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Houston, TX is hiring for a manufacturing associate on the 1st shift. You will handle packaging, material handling, forklift operation, and safe operation of production equipment to fulfill customer orders.

Base pay is $17.50 per hour with overtime potential, and shift hours may vary by daily work orders and seasonality. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to obtain forklift vehicle certification.
• Ability to operate safely in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Experience with loaders, banders, nail guns, saws, wrap equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging and load optimization for deliveries.
• Operate machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure machines operate properly and deliver quality output.
• Complete orders accurately and on time; inspect materials and products.
• Assist with inventory and ERP data entry and audits.
