Job summary

Balance Staffing is seeking a Material Handler in Carrollton, TX to support daily manufacturing operations by receiving, storing, and moving materials throughout the facility. This contract-to-hire role starts in 1st shift with Monday–Friday hours and weekly pay.

You will help with inventory, cycle counts, and data entry updates using Excel, contributing to a clean, safe, and organized workplace while supporting production teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1+ years of experience preferred.
• Comfortable climbing ladder stairs and lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Basic computer & data entry skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to good attendance.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
• Ability to effectively in a team environment.
• Must follow all health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Locate and deliver materials needed for production.
• Remove and return materials from completed jobs.
• Issue, receive, and track materials as directed.
• Keep production areas supplied with required materials.
• Document material transactions and inventory movements.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
• Receive and properly store incoming materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow proper lifting and safety procedures.
