Job summary

Balance Staffing seeks a Material Handler for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Carrollton, TX. The 2nd shift runs Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, with a starting pay of $17 per hour plus a 5% shift differential.

Qualifications

• 0-1+ years of experience preferred.
• Basic computer & data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Locate and deliver materials needed for production.
• Remove and return materials from completed jobs.
• Issue, receive, and track materials as directed.
• Keep production areas supplied with required materials.
• Document material transactions and inventory movements.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
• Receive and properly store incoming materials.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow proper lifting and safety procedures.

Our client, a leading global electronics manufacturing company, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team in Carrollton, TX. This is a great opportunity to build manufacturing experience in a clean, team-oriented environment with opportunities for long-term growth.

Job Purpose

Support daily manufacturing operations by receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Locate and deliver materials needed for production
• Remove and return materials from completed jobs
• Issue, receive, and track materials as directed
• Keep production areas supplied with required materials
• Document material transactions and inventory movements
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
• Receive and properly store incoming materials
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Follow proper lifting and safety procedures

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 0-1+ years of experience preferred
• Comfortable climbing ladder stairs and lifting up to 30 pounds
• Basic computer & data entry skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to good attendance
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas
• Ability to effectively in a team environment
• Must follow all health and safety requirements
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Available Shift/Other Information:

• 2ndShift - 2pm-10:30pm - Monday through Friday
• 5% Shift Differential for 2ndShift
• Weekly Pay
