Material Handler 1st Shift - This position is located in Chaska, MN. Reporting to the Materials Manager, you'll be part of a team creating innovative ways to move forward, focusing on emotional experiences rather than just distance. Our products and achievements reflect our team's expertise.

Shift Schedule: Monday, Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Friday 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Hourly Rate: $23.45

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders
• Recording shipment data like weight, damages, or discrepancies
• Contacting carriers for shipping arrangements
• Managing shipping materials and maintaining inventory
• Verifying shipment contents against records
• Preparing materials for shipping by packing, sealing, and labeling
• Routing materials to departments using hand trucks or conveyors
• Determining shipping methods and routes
• Inspecting equipment and materials for compliance
• Performing material handling duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to operate forklifts, motorized vehicles, and mechanical equipment
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
• Strong communication skills
• At least 1 year of warehouse/receiving experience
• Dependability and regular attendance

Preferred Skills:

• Manufacturing or assembly experience
• Experience with hand and power tools
