Majestic Steel is excited to add a Material Handler on the first shift! Using an industrial forklift, our Material Handlers move steel throughout our service center. Majestic Steel has an immaculate facility, a strong safety culture, and offers competitive compensation & benefits.

What You Will Do:

• Operate lift trucks to transport, store, rotate, and stage materials within the service center, review product counts to ensure accuracy
• Perform daily lift truck inspections, move up and down from lift truck, and report any equipment issues
• Work collaboratively with team to meet goals, contribute to housekeeping procedures, and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

• Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience with forklift operation is required.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow processes & procedures, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, mount & dismount equipment, walk, climb, and bend for periods of time, and work in hot and cold environments depending on weather conditions.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of lift truck operation experience
• Experience handling heavy loads (10,000 pounds or more)

Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 an hour
