Our Charlotte, North Carolina facility is home to the A. O. Smith Water Systems Division, where we engineer andmanufacture expansion tanks for water heating systems along with storage and well water tanks.
TheMaterial Handler (1st Shift)is responsible for transferring materials and manufactured items to the assembly lines to increase efficiency of production. The Material Handler will pull Sheet-metal racks, HEX and crates to the line and returns to the empty racks to the staging area. This role involves operating liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift to move products or materials.
Regularly Scheduled Hours: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday (Some OT during the week and occasional Saturdays)
Pay Rate: $19/hr (Raises every 3 months topping out at $20.69/hr after 12 months)
