Job summary

Wieland is seeking a highly motivated 1st Shift Material Handler for our Texas City, TX site. You will assist with processing products, maintaining inventory, setting up machine stations and packing outgoing material.

This role is fully on-site with a 6:00 am–2:30 pm schedule and starting pay of $18.00 per hour. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to read a tape measure, prioritize tasks, and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of manufacturing industries preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe organized working environment.
• Assist in reviewing outgoing shipping documents and package product.
• Assist in inspections of product orders for accuracy.
• Assist in loading/unloading packages from trucks.
• Report product discrepancies to management.
• Operate forklifts to relocate material.
• Other Operations tasks as assigned.

1st Shift Material Handler

Wieland is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented 1st Shift Material Handler. Candidates will assist with overall operations, including processing products, maintaining inventory, setting up machine stations, and packing outgoing material. This role is located in Texas City, TX and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)

Material Handler Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe organized working environment
• Assist in reviewing outgoing shipping documents and package product
