Job summary

New Flyer is seeking a Material Handler to manage inventory and support our production environment. You will receive, store, and move materials, assist assembly technicians, and help maintain safety and efficient inventory flow.

This is 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience with forklifts, warehouse operations, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift, warehouse, inventory control and/or equipment operating experience preferred.
• Solid, up-to-date and consistent work history is strongly desired.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Commitment to safety and the ability to recognize and mitigate hazards.

As a Material Handler at New Flyer, you will play a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring efficient operation within our production environment. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and moving materials to support our manufacturing processes. You'll work actively to maintain safety standards and optimize inventory flow while supporting assembly technicians in their daily tasks. Hours are 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 6:30a - 3:00p.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
