Job summary

WireCrafters, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to ensure smooth flow of materials through the production line. The role requires operating a forklift, loading weld booths, and maintaining daily material staging; 10‑hour shifts Monday through Thursday with overtime as needed.

Starting pay is $20.50/hour with regular quarterly raises from 3 months until top out pay of $31.46 is reached in 2.5 years. After 90 days, benefit options include Health/Dental/Vision, FSA, life insurance, 401(k) and

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
  • LEAN manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Load items by hand and onto carts for weld booths.
  • Keep weld booths stocked with daily materials.
  • Move finished product to storage area.
  • Maintain material staging for Welding and Saw Department.

Starting pay is $20.50 per hour. Regular quarterly raises from 3 months until top out pay of $31.46 is reached in 2.5 years. Once at top out pay, employees will receive an annual cost of living raise.

1st shift hours are 6:45 am – 5:15 pm M-Th (overtime on Friday depending on schedule)

GENERAL SUMMARY

Ensure flow of materials through the Company in order to meet the established production schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS
  • Operate Forklift safely
  • Pull items by hand and load onto carts for each weld booth
  • Keep weld booths loaded with daily work materials
  • Move completed product away from weld booths and to the storage area
  • Keep material stage for both Welding and Saw Department
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Manufacturing facility/ warehouse environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Non-temperature regulated facility.
  • Constant material transport via fork lift throughout facility.
  • 10-hour work days – 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday).
  • Mandatory overtime depending on operation schedule.
  • Work alone or with other co-workers.
  • Steady pace with set productivity goals to be met each day.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Constant standing, bending, and stooping.
  • Frequent reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling.
  • Exerting 50 lbs to 60 lbs of force occasionally, and/or 20 lbs to 50 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
  • Pushing carts loaded with material to staging areas

  • Forklift

  • Safety Toed Shoes Required
Requirements
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
  • Material Handling experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be self-driven and have the ability to work at a quick, but safe pace for the entirety of the shift.
  • Able to read standard tape measure.
  • Must be able to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment a plus.
