Job summary

Material Handler position in Lemont, IL is a temp-to-hire role with a starting pay of $20.00 per hour. You will operate automated packaging equipment, package graphite and carbon products, and support production in a dusty industrial setting.

Responsibilities include lifting up to 50 pounds, wearing steel-toe boots, and maintaining a safe, organized work area. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; no weekends; paid lunch and opportunities for wage increases upon permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Onsite facility walkthrough required prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated packaging equipment.
• Package graphite and carbon products into 50 lb bags and 2,000 lb super sacks.
• Perform material handling and production support duties.
• Ensure products are packaged accurately and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with general housekeeping and facility upkeep.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

A premier North American supplier and distributor of raw materials, alloys, and melting inputs for the ferrous foundry and steel industries is seeking dependable Material Handlers to join its Lemont, Illinois operation. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with excellent long-term career potential, competitive benefits upon hire, and opportunities for pay increases.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• 1-hour unpaid lunch (11:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
• No weekends required

Pay

• Starting pay: $20.00 per hour
• Pay increase upon permanent hire

Job Responsibilities
