Job summary

nVent is seeking a Materials Handler in Minnesota to receive, stock, pick, issue and deliver materials, while keeping inventory accurate and equipment ready for production. You will follow safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and escalate issues to leadership as needed in a fast-paced setting.

You will operate wave lifts, tugger trucks and carts, ensuring a continuous supply to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety protocols and promptly alert supervisors about unsafe situations or risks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Notify the Team Leader when issues arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, etc.
• Receive, stock, pick, issue, and deliver materials to support internal and external customers.
• Maintain equipment, including safety checks.
• Ensure a continuous supply of equipment and materials to complete operations.
• Meet established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
• Ensure products meet nVent’s quality specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
• Participate in rotational assignments as needed.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.

• - Ensure a continuous supply of equipment and materials necessary to complete operations.
• - Meet established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.
• - Ensure that products meet nVent’s quality specifications.
• - Maintain accurate records and inventory balances.
• - Perform rotational assignments as needed.
• - Actively participate as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$17.20 - $31.90 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
