Job summary

Dakkota Integrated Systems in Detroit, MI seeks a Material Handler to support material flow and inventory accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will stock, move, and stage materials to keep production lines ready and compliant with safety and quality standards.

This role requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent), training for powered industrial trucks, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a focus on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic math and documentation skills are required.
  • Familiarity with automotive quality standards is a plus.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate powered industrial equipment including forklift, tugger, and cherry picker.
  • Stock and organize materials to support production and inventory control.
  • Deliver materials to production lines and ensure full line readiness.
  • Maintain FIFO inventory rotation and proper material sequencing.
  • Support plant housekeeping, recycling, and material organization initiatives.
  • Monitor and report equipment issues and complete daily inspections.
  • Participate in inventory counts and material reorganization activities.

Material Handler

We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Material Handler to support material flow and inventory accuracy within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring production lines are stocked, materials are handled efficiently, and safety and quality standards are consistently met.

What You'll Do
  • Operate powered industrial equipment including forklift, tugger, and cherry picker
