Responsibilities

1. Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move freight, stock, or materials manually or using equipment.
2. Transport freight and materials to and from storage, production areas, docks, and vehicles.
3. Attach identifying tags or mark containers with relevant information.
4. Read work orders or instructions to determine assignments and material needs.
5. Record handled or moved units using production sheets or work tickets.
6. Sort cargo during loading and unloading processes.
7. Assemble product containers or crates with hand tools and precut lumber.
8. Carry tools or supplies from storage or trucks and return after use.
