Job summary

North American Stamping Group is seeking experienced Material Handlers at our Portland, TN facility. Pay starts at $23.35 per hour plus a 10% shift premium. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance after 30 days, 401(k), holidays, and vacation. Tuition assistance is available after 1 year of service.

Responsibilities include safe, efficient movement of product, supporting weld, press, and warehouse areas, and adherence to continuous improvement practices. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification required.
• 2 years forklift experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Move material between storage and next designated work areas.
• Unload inbound trailers and place materials appropriately.
• Assist in keeping 5-S standards and maintain shop area.
• Ensure quality parts are moved to correct locations per customer orders.
• Complete daily equipment checklists and inventory counts.
