What You'll Get to Do

The Material Handler position is focused on moving materials, including glass and metal, from one location to another to expedite the product throughout the plant. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

This role is ideal for someone with previous manufacturing experience, who is a team player, and has an excellent attendance record. As a vital member of the IG Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. The pay rate is $20 per hour.

Job responsibilities include:

1. Loading and unloading products from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
2. Performing work as assigned by the Supervisor.
3. Attaching appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
4. Reading and interpreting basic mathematical measurements and effectively using a tape measure.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks with deadlines, and work overtime when required.
