Job description

The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment, ensuring correct delivery and shipment of materials.

Must be able to operate a forklift

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform work within task/cycle time
• Follow work instructions accurately
• Move materials to the point of use
• Maintain a clean work area by disposing of empty boxes and keeping materials organized around the assembly line
• Notify personnel of material shortages
• Check in and process materials from other cells
• Adhere to all safety requirements
• Practice 5S principles

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Follow verbal and written instructions, including drawings and blueprints
• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of JDE Material Handler Menu
• Certified forklift operator

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in material handling
