Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking a full-time team member for a second shift in our food manufacturing facility. You will move materials, stack pallets, and help maintain accurate counts and records while supporting production operations.

The role requires standing for long periods and working in subzero freezer conditions. Prior experience is 0–2 years, with a high school diploma or GED preferred. Competitive benefits are offered.

• Minimum of 0 to 2 years related experience.
• Must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4-8 hours per day and stand up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and supplies through the facility using material handling equipment as needed.
• Stack skids or pallets and dispose of scrap bracing cardboard and strapping.
• Place items in containers or designated areas.
• Use lists to count quantities of product and conduct intermediate material audits.
• Perform other duties such as general maintenance and processing load sheets.

What You Will Do:

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility, which may require the use of material handling equipment such as carts, conveyer belts, and pallet jacks.
• Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas and cleaning and disposing of scrap bracing cardboard and strapping.
• Placing items in proper containers or designated areas.
• Using lists to determine and count quantities of product moving throughout the facility and conducting intermediate material audits.
• Other duties as assigned (such as general maintenance work around the facility and processing of load sheets).
