Job summary

Klute, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler / Stager to keep production moving by ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time.

You will stage parts, move and organize inventory, and assist welders and operators in a hands-on shop environment. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, safety-minded team players who can lift up to 50 pounds and adapt to a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Dependable, safety-minded team player.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working around equipment and moving materials.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Stage steel parts for welders using project blueprints.
• Move, sort, and organize materials throughout the shop.
• Stack and store steel safely and efficiently.
• Prepare steel parts using a drill press and hand tools.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to transport materials (training provided).
• Work closely with welders, machine operators, and production leaders to keep projects moving.
• Help maintain organized inventory and support production priorities.
