A leading company is seeking a Material Handler to join their first shift team in Worcester, MA. The role involves moving production materials, operating forklifts, and ensuring inventory accuracy in a safe, clean environment. Job Title: Material Handler I-1st shift
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Pay rate up to $21.50/hr
Location: Worcester, MA
Schedule: Mon thru Fri 5:30 AM-2 PM
What You'll Do
The Material Handler will be responsible for quickly and accurately moving production materials and parts into and out of warehouse shelves, storage bins, and production locations.
Receive and put away inbound deliveries.
Pick and issue parts for production jobs.
Make inventory and other transactions in the company systems and database with accuracy and timeliness.
The Material Handler ensures the warehouse is a safe, clean, and efficient production work environment.
Checks completed parts to ensure compliance with Worcester Plant Quality standards and makes necessary adjustments when required to meet quality goals.
In this Function, You Will
Operate a variety of material handling equipment (sit-down or stand-up fork trucks, pallet jacks, two-wheel and four-wheel dollies, cranes, pallet stackers/walkie rider, etc.).
Unload and load delivery trucks, trailers, and outside carriers
Ensure proper movement of materials.
A stand-up forklift experience is a must-have skill for this role.
