Job summary

Latham Pool Products, Inc. in Williams, CA is seeking a Material Handler to support production and distribution by ensuring the timely flow of materials throughout the facility.

You will pull materials from inventory, deliver production supplies, stage finished products, and maintain inventory accuracy to help drive manufacturing efficiency. • Processes production inventory materials utilizing industrial power tools, such as table saws and chain cutters.
• Maintains inventory by labeling and stocking materials and recording locations.
• Locates materials by pulling and verifying against production orders.
• Delivers and opens materials to work centers to maintain in-process inventory.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by pulling, packing, crating, and loading.
• Documents units shipped and materials disposition.
• Maintains material handling equipment through pre-use inspections and repairs.
• Performs other duties or projects as assigned.

This role is responsible for pulling materials from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, staging finished products, and maintaining inventory accuracy to support manufacturing efficiency.
Some of What You Will Do:

• Processes production inventory materials utilizing industrial power tools, i.e., table saws, miter saws, chain cutters, etc.


• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.


• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.


• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.


• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.


• Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity, placing materials in stock.


• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating loading, and securing product.


• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.


• Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs.


• Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
