• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process production inventory materials using industrial power tools (e.g., table saws, miter saws, chain cutters).
• Maintain inventory by labeling and stocking materials; record locations.
• Locate materials by pulling from production orders and verifying quantities.
• Deliver materials to work centers and open materials as needed for production.
• Document material dispositions by recording units delivered and locations.
• Receive credit-return materials and verify codes, lot numbers, and quantities.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Document shipments by recording units shipped.
• Maintain material handling equipment with pre-use inspections and simple repairs.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

A little about the position:

Job Summary

The Material Handler supports production and distribution operations by ensuring the accurate and timely flow of materials throughout the facility. This role is responsible for pulling materials from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, staging finished products, and maintaining inventory accuracy to support manufacturing efficien cy.

Some of What You Will Do:

• Processes production inventory materials utilizing industrial power tools, i.e., table saws, miter saws, chain cutters, etc.
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity, placing materials in stock.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs.
• Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
