Job summary

Open Road Brands in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to receive, store, and ship goods, supporting accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.

You will operate forklifts or pallet jacks, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and follow OSHA and company procedures. We value reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork.

This full-time on-site role may require overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse or material handling experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift certification preferred, or the ability to obtain certification.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, with a strong work ethic and attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Load, unload, sort, and stage materials using manual equipment or powered industrial trucks.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Move materials to designated storage locations while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment and follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Accurately complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or equipment issues to supervisors.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
