Job summary

Terrazzo and Marble Supply Company in Wheeling, IL is seeking a Full-Time Material Handler for a Monday–Friday day shift with rotating Saturday coverage. You will move and stage materials for customer appointments, while ensuring safety and timely handling in a showroom and warehouse.

We are one of the largest distributors of natural stone slabs, poured-in-place terrazzo, and quartz surfacing. We believe that the cornerstone of our success is due to the teamwork and dedication of our employee-owners.

We are looking to add a Full-Time, Permanent Material Handler for a Monday through Friday day shift. The staff rotates, covering a 4-hour shift on Saturdays. This role is an opportunity to learn about the stone trade and connect with influencers in the field.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage materials for customer appointments safely, accurately, and timely
• Identifies damaged materials and records material shortages
• Loads and unloads materials onto and from a variety of containers, including but not limited to trucks, conveyors, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish the task
• Cleans and organizes the showroom and warehouse
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment
