Job summary

TJN Enterprises, Inc. in Watertown, SD is hiring a General Labor Production / Material Sorter. The role is weekdays only, Monday to Friday, with on-site training provided and pay starting at $18.00 per hour.

You will sort scrap metal materials, process items through equipment, load and unload materials, and help keep a safe, clean work area. Able to lift up to 60 pounds and work outdoors in seasonal climates; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn and adapt in a manufacturing setting.
• Reliable with good attendance and punctuality.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds regularly.
• Willing to work outdoors in seasonal weather conditions.
• Comfortable working in a dusty environment; basic safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Sort / separate scrap metal materials by hand or with equipment.
• Process materials through processing equipment.
• Load / unload materials as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Perform minor repairs to processing equipment when necessary.
• Handle heavy lifting and assist with other duties such as sweeping.
