Job summary

Monroechamber is seeking a Material Handler in Germantown, WI for the 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am). This is a potential to hire position on the Germantown site.

Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting materials, moving items with forklifts, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, warehouse experience, forklift certification (or willingness to obtain), basic computer skills, and the ability to read work orders and shipping documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials.
• Transport materials to designated storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP software.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including OSHA standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and shipping teams to support workflow efficiency.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or similar workplace standards.
