Seaway Plastics in Vadnais Heights, MN is seeking a hands-on Material Handler to support production by safely receiving, storing, and supplying materials to meet daily schedules. You will help maintain material flow and ensure quality through accurate handling.

This role is physically demanding and requires adherence to SOPs, BOM compliance, and ISO standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced team environment, communicating with operators and supervisors to minimize delays and maximize productivity.

Formación

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Follows SOPs and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail for BOM compliance.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
• Organize and schedule material readiness to meet production schedules.
• Comply with material identification, handling, preparation and packing.
• Ensure materials are drying at the correct temperatures and dew points.
• Verify the hopper loaders and dryers are clean prior to loading resins.
• Maintain all machines with adequate amounts of material, cartons, and skids for continuous operation.
• Participate in change-over when applicable inform supervisor of any maintenance needed, quality and safety issues observed.
• Assist in giving operators breaks, maintaining all material equipment and overall housekeeping.
• Responsible for ensuring that no material contamination occurs in any of the process in the facility through execution of proper material identification, handling and equipment/container cleaning methods.
• Support IQMS and ISO standards.
• Produce accurate reports of material use and returns.
• Perform various tasks as required to support operational necessities.
• Understand and implement safe work habits to prevent potential safety hazards of material cross contamination.
• Responsible for proper implementation of all material handler procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Comply with material identification, handling, preparation and packing per SOP and manufacturers guidelines.
• Ensure materials are drying at the correct temperatures and dew points and equipment is working properly.

• Maintain all machines with adequate amounts of material, cartons, and skids for continuous operation.
