Job summary

Seaway Plastics Engineering is seeking a meticulous Warehouse Clerk to support production and customer deliveries by receiving, stocking, tracking, and distributing materials. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and efficient inventory management in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are organized, dependable and capable of using RF scanners and forklifts daily. You will perform cycle counts, manage paperwork, and coordinate with production planners to meet daily ship and production

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick work orders for manufacturing.
• Calculate concentrate let down ratios, and mix with raw material.
• Mark material with identifying bar codes/item code/description/lot #/weight.
• Operate scanners so that the proper order is picked and inventory is managed accurately.
• Stage raw materials for delivery to manufacturing.
• Return unused material from production floor to the warehouse for put away.
• Maintain communication with manufacturing associates and production planner regarding order pull times and potential problems.
• Ensure all paperwork is correct.
• Operate forklifts for delivering items to manufacturing, as well as loading, unloading trucks.
• Receive raw material, matching PO to material and packing list.
• Place raw material in storage locations and track in the computer.
• Perform daily cycle counts.
• Help pull and pack all orders on designated “Must Ship” day.
• Store INMI inserts and issue as needed.
• Allocate raw material to Material Requisitions and ESWO’s.
• Move assigned material to Raw Staging location.
• Ensure warehouse and material is clean and safely stored.
• Maintaining SOP procedures while looking for areas for improvements.

• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized
• Maintain SOP procedures while looking for areas for improvements
• Provide a safe working environment
• Presents Bendi Forklift training as needed.
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed

• Physical Requirements include: typing, standing, sitting and walking through the day, repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves, regular lifting of up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting of 40-50 pounds, occasional climbing of ladders, usage of fork lifts and pallet jacks. Must be able to work in heat.
