Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility. You will handle products using hand trucks or conveyors, perform packing, scanning, and counting, and verify orders with a handheld scanner.

Adherence to 7S and a clean, safe workspace are essential. Ideal candidates bring basic math skills, the ability to read safety instructions, and a positive attitude with a proven ability to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to perform basic math with or without a calculator.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment
• Perform packing, scanning, kitting or counting products
• Verify orders and label products using a handheld scanner
• Adhere to the 7S program
• Maintain a clean environment
• Work safely to protect yourself and team members

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents
• 1 year of warehouse environment experience preferred
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including possible overtime
• Experience using a handheld scanner preferred
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
• Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Conditional offer may require passing a pre-employment drug test
