Job summary

Jobtailor in Kansas is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to move material and inventory throughout the facility, pack and count products, and verify orders with a handheld scanner. You will use hand trucks, conveyors, and other material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.

We value a positive attitude, ability to work in a team, and basic math skills. Candidates with at least 1 year of warehouse experience, willingness to overtime when needed, and the ability to read safety rules

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic math skills with or without a calculator.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating documents.
• 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Flexible schedule with possible overtime.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team.

• Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility
• Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment
• Perform duties that may include packing, scanning, kitting or counting products
• Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner
• Adhere to the 7S program
• Maintain a clean environment at all times
• Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members

Requirements

• At a minimum, you’ll need:
• To be at least 18 years of age
• The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedural documents
• It’d be great if you also have:
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed
• Experience using a handheld scanner
• Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals and objectives
