Join to apply for the Material Handler role at Spinnaker

Support the Coating, Finishing, and Shipping/Receiving Departments by operating sit-down and stand-up forklift trucks and pallet jacks to move products or materials. Responsibilities include:

• Following all forklift safety practices
• Reading work orders and delivering materials accordingly
• Storing and logging materials and finished products
• Scanning rolls for movement and performing inventory transactions
• Conducting safety and maintenance checks on forklifts
• Verifying material integrity and reporting damages
• Packaging finished rolls for shipment and preparing packaging materials
• Maintaining a safe, orderly work area and coordinating shipping and receiving activities
• Performing other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills

• Certified to operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Efficient time management and adaptability to changes
• Ability to use hand tools safely
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 100 pounds with assistance

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of manufacturing or distribution experience
• Forklift certification required, with recertification upon hire

Position details include third shift hours from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, full-time employment, and a salary of $19.00 - $20.00 per hour.
