Job summary

Bull Moose Tube in Trenton, GA is seeking a full-time Material Handler to safely move and manage all raw materials, WIP, and finished goods in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment.

The role requires the ability to operate hi-lo and cranes, read and follow safety protocols, and maintain accurate data in the MRP system. A high school diploma and licensing for crane/hi-lo are expected, with strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate hi-lo and cranes.

• Complete and report applicable paperwork as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned and work cross-functionally with GRF positions.

Responsible For

Efficient and safe material handling, including but not limited to all movement and storage of all raw material, WIP and finished goods.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain/maintain crane license.
• Ability to obtain/maintain hi-lo license.
• Demonstrated ability to enter/recover data from MRP system.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Conform to all safety requirements.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Job Duties (include, But Are Not Limited To)

• Operation of hi-lo and cranes.
• Maneuvering of racks and carts.
• Movement/placement of all material in designated areas.
• Bar-coding, labeling, scanning, and documentation of material as required.
• Completion and reporting of applicable paperwork as required.
• Other duties as assigned this position has cross-functionality and will operate in concert with other GRF positions.

Physical Demand/Environment

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, kneel, see, talk, hear, lift up to 50 lbs. Exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, non-hazardous materials, outside elements, and variances of sound levels.
