As a Material Handler, you’ll move finished materials throughout the warehouse and transfer steel coils between departments using forklifts and overhead cranes. Schedule: This is a DAY shift opening! You would work every Wednesday & Thursday and every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 5 am to 5pm, 12 hour shifts.

Position Specifics:

• Location: Charter Steel – Saukville: 1658 Cold Springs Road, Saukville, WI
• Shift: Days! On our C-shift you work 5am to 5pm on our 5-2-2-5 schedule (5 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 5 days off)
  
  

What you'll need:

• A high school diploma or GED (we can help through the GEDWorks program)
• Forklift experience – you know how to handle one safely
• Able to use a scanner for tracking and inventory
• Comfortable with basic math (like counting and simple calculations)
• Can communicate clearly with team members
• A team player who works well with others
• Can follow directions and also help guide others when needed
• Good at solving simple problems on the job
  
  

Nice to haves:

• Some manufacturing experience – you’ve worked in a factory, warehouse or similar setting before
• Safety training – you know how to stay safe and follow safety rules on the job
