Job summary

Seal & Design, Inc. in Clarence, NY is seeking a Material Handler to ensure a steady flow of materials to the production floor and support inventory accuracy within the warehouse.

You will locate and pull materials for scheduled jobs, verify counts, and assist with shipping/receiving coverage while keeping the workspace organized. The role offers an 8:30a–5:00p shift, the pay range of $20–$22 per hour, and benefits such as 401(k) and health insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of related warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP software in a computer-based environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Locate and pull materials for scheduled production jobs as directed by Lead Operators.
• Review job cards prior to material pulls and notify Leads or the Production Planner of any discrepancies.
• Return unused materials to proper warehouse locations upon job completion.
• Assist with stocking and organizing manufactured and resale parts and materials.
• Perform cycle counts of stock and non-stock inventory as assigned.
• Record stock transfers and inventory transactions accurately within the ERP system to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, ensuring materials are stored properly and space is utilized efficiently.
• Cross-train in Shipping and Receiving functions to provide coverage during high workload periods and vacations.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and in compliance with all company safety and security policies.
