Job summary

PrideStaff is seeking 1st shift Material Handlers to perform cleaning, packaging, labeling, and warehousing tasks on site. You will operate a forklift and complete related paperwork for production and shipments, while following GMP and safety procedures.

Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs, pass a background and drug screen, and have cleaning experience. Steel-toed boots are required; industrial food processing experience is a plus. This is a full-time on-site role in Tennessee.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must pass background and drug screen.
• Cleaning experience required.
• Experience in Industrial Food Processing preferred.
• Steel-toed boots are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, sanitation, packaging, labeling, and warehousing duties as assigned.
• Follow GMP, food safety, and safety policies.
• Operate forklift and handle paperwork for production and shipments.
• Complete the daily/weekly cleaning schedules and related paperwork.
• Assist maintenance personnel as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

We are currently hiring for 1st shift Material Handlers:

Essential Duties

• Perform cleaning/sanitation, product packaging, labeling, warehousing etc. duties as assigned
• Perform the Daily Cleaning Schedule, Daily Facilities Evaluation and Weekly Cleaning Schedule and complete paperwork.
• Follow all GMP, food safety, safety policies, and procedures
• Perform product packaging operations in accordance with SOP
• Operate forklift and complete paperwork for the following: tote production, organic sugar production, occasional deliveries and shipments
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Assist maintenance personnel as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Understand verbal and written communication

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to summit to a background and drug screen
• Cleaning experience
• Experience in Industrial Food Processing Desired
• Must have Steel Toed Boots!
