Aurora Organic Dairy is seeking a Material Handler for the Columbia, MO facility to receive and log raw materials, maintain dry storage, and stage materials for production runs in a fast-paced dairy environment.
Responsibilities include FIFO inventory, QA paperwork, operating Stand-Up and Bendi forklifts, completing powder tracking, and maintaining yard trailer inventory while using the ERP system and a scan gun. Safety certification is required.

Purpose:
The Material Handler is responsible for receiving all incoming raw material, chemical and other supplies, logging them in and overseeing their distribution. They are also responsible for organizing and maintaining the inventory in the dry storage area as well as staging raw materials needed by the filler operation for production runs.

Physical Requirements:
Must possess the physical ability to work the entire shift on the plant floor working in a cool, wet environment with temperatures ranging between 34-38 degrees will be a requirement. Standing, walking, climbing, repetitive bending, repetitive stooping, repetitive reaching with arms and repetitive grasping with hands and fingers. Must have the ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to work safely in a fast-paced environment working around production machines, warehouse equipment, forklifts, large trucks, and tankers.
