Job summary

Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves storing and moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, pulling orders, maintaining inventory, and preparing shipments.

Ideal candidates will have forklift experience, basic computer/data-entry skills, knowledge of electrical tools, and strong communication abilities; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Forklift operator experience is required.
  • Computer savviness and ability to generate reports and do data entry.
  • Electrical parts and tools knowledge is required.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Good communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Job description

Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is seeking a motivated Material Handler to join our team in Atlanta, GA.

Supe rvisory Responsibilities

None.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Storing and moving materials: They manage the storage, movement, and handling within a warehouse.
  • Loading and Unloading: They load and unload trucks, ensuring that materials are transported efficiently to and from storage areas.
  • Ensure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution.
  • Contributes to the orderly operation of the stock and/or materials storage area.
  • Maintains inventory by identifying , labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording the location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Locates and packs materials for shipping.
  • Documents materials and records units delivered and the location of units.
  • Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supply codes, lot numbers, and quantities.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying , pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product .
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Maintains material‑handling equipment by completing pre‑use inspections and making operator repairs.
  • Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.

Physical Requirements

Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying. Exposure to temperatures and varying inside conditions.
