A-Line Staffing Solutions LLC currently seeks a motivated Forklift Material Handler (Warehouse) to support warehouse operations in Sumter, SC. This is a 40+ hour, on-site role with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour on a contract basis, with potential to hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, and preparing orders using RF scanning, building pallets, and supporting dock/manifest tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (verifiable).
• Attendance commitment during first 90 days.
• Minimum 6 months forklift driving experience (stand-up preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehousing tasks.
• Ability to read basic distribution docs and work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Comfortable using RF/voice scanning and material-handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders by scanning bar codes, picking items, and labeling boxes.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF technology.
• Build pallets and re-palletize products for shipment; verify order accuracy and packaging.
• Support dock/manifest tasks such as scanning pallets and operating shrink-wrap equipment.
• Maintain an organized work area and follow warehouse procedures.
• Follow safety, quality, sanitation, and security practices around moving equipment.
• Assist with cross-training and other warehouse duties as assigned.

Forklift Material Handler (Warehouse) | Details and Compensation

Location: Sumter, SC 29153 - 100% on-site. Payrate: $18.50/hr. Required Availability: Full-Time | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM 3-2-2-3 schedule (includes weekends).

Forklift Material Handler (Warehouse) | Summary and Highlights

The Forklift Material Handler supports warehouse operations by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment using RF/scan-based processes while maintaining accuracy and documentation standards. This role also builds and re-palletizes orders for outbound shipping, supports dock/manifest activities, and helps keep the work area organized and compliant with safety and quality procedures. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

Forklift Material Handler (Warehouse) | Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Minimum 6 months of forklift driving experience required (stand-up forklift experience preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and perform physical warehouse work (standing/walking, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling)
• Ability to read/interpret basic distribution documents and work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
• Comfortable using RF/voice scanning and material-handling equipment (as assigned)
