Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Material Handler for a 2nd shift in Statesville, NC. Hours are Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm. Pay is $18.25 per hour with potential overtime.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, packing, picking, scanning, and maintaining a clean environment. Experience with handheld scanners and WMS is preferred. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and tolerate warehouse conditions.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time.
• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights.
• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull.
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools or equipment.
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

• Load and unload material on daily basis
• Perform duties that may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting or counting products
• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
• Use a barcode scanner and warehouse management system

Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time

Preferred requirements:

• Availability to work a full time schedule, with possible overtime
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
