Job Purpose

Ensure raw materials are supplied to production workers efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate pallet/fork trucks safely
• Perform routine maintenance
• Supply necessary materials to production workers
• Remove empty racks/pallets, load/unload trucks, and manage raw materials

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to obtain forklift operator certification
• Ability to perform data entry accurately
• Ability to read, understand, and follow operational instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hazardous material handling

General Job Requirements

• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
• Ability to differentiate colors
• Lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos regularly; heavier loads with assistance or mechanical aid
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Exposure to materials like lead or fiberglass; periodic blood tests required
• Work in a plant/warehouse environment with varying conditions
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment at all times
• Willingness to wear a respirator and work overtime or varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to operate a forklift
