Job summary

Valmet in Shrewsbury, MA is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping, receiving and assembly operations. This on-site role focuses on accurate picking, packing, and moving materials through the warehouse.

You will operate a forklift, use the inventory control system to process orders, perform cycle counts, and ensure safety with PPE. A benefits package includes a 401k match.

Qualifications

Join our Valmet team as a Material Handler in our shipping, receiving, or assembly departments in Shrewsbury, MA.

Requirements

• Picking and packing goods to be shipped

• Receive and select parts. Locate materials in the warehouse and transport either to storeroom, assembly or shipping.

• Uses a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials and equipment throughout the facility.

• Trained on our inventory control computer system to process orders using several system transactions including Picking/Issuing MO's, Receiving MO's and PO's.

• Cycle counts parts to maintain inventory accuracy in storerooms.

• Ability to use necessary hand tools and proper PPE.

• Frequently lifts materials weighing up to 40 pounds.

• Must comply with all applicable federal, state and organizational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
