Georg Fischer Ltd. in Shawnee, OK is seeking a Material Handler to support warehousing operations, pick orders, and safely operate lifting equipment. The role requires SAP proficiency, forklift experience, and adherence to safety rules in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will scan inventory with an RF gun, inspect safety devices, and maintain accurate paperwork while supporting overtime as needed to meet shipping deadlines.

• High school diploma or its equivalent, required.
• Must have some previous verifiable forklift experience.
• Must be able to pass Georg Fischer Central Plastics test in the proper use and maintenance of lift trucks.
• Must be able to use SAP and understand priority scheduling system.
• Must be self-motivated to work quickly and accurately with little supervision.
• Must be able to work closely with others in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to accurately handle all paperwork (pick tickets, receipt tickets, manufacturing orders, labor cards, MST’s).
• Must be a mature and responsible individual who is able to work without supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and follow all company policies and procedures.

• Perform daily safety inspections per lift per shift.
• Use wireless RF gun to scan locations and boxes/pallets to pick, pack, and ship orders.
• Safely operate picking equipment including order picker, forklifts, jack stand, and pallet-jack.
• Use computer to look up inventory levels and priorities.
• Safely operate forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Work overtime as needed to maintain customer service.
• Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 requirements.
• Assist inventory control by reporting inventory deviations.
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Requires regular attendance per supervisor schedule.
