Perform manual tasks such as package, crate, label, count, and sort products. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*** Required to understand and follow all company policies and procedures* Ensure that all guards and safety equipment have been installed and properly checked* Required to meet or exceed production standards* Required to maintain quality standards on all products* Safely load and unload machinery with the proper tooling and product as directed by team leader or supervisor* Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the department* Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees* Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor* Required to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures* Required to understand and follow work procedures as set forth by all ISO documentation* Read and interpret blueprints whenever required by operation* Select the proper tooling and process set-up as directed by team leader or supervisor* Safely assemble parts on line to manufacture items for customer fullfullment. This may include lift, screw, push, pull, count, sort, crate, package, label items* Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements* Perform other tasks as assigned## *Required Skills/Abilities:** A thorough understanding of the hazard communication program* Must have a total understanding of the shop packets released to the shop floor* Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing environment## *Education and Experience:** High school diploma or its equivalent, desired## *Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:** Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas* Must be able to lift 50 lbs. in a safe manner* Clarity of vision and the ability to focus on a fast and repetitious operation for extended period of time* Exposure to heavy equipment or components needed to produce product (safety toed shoes required)* Exposure to sparks, chips, and dust (eye protection required)* Must be capable of maintaining a 40-hour workweek and working overtime as needed* Must be able to perform repetitive motion.
